- Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam (Temple Cleaning Ceremony): In preparation for the festival, a major cleansing ceremony will be held at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple on January 20, from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Sarva Darshan will be allowed for devotees after the ceremony.
- Cancelled Services on January 25: To facilitate the grand festival, the following regular sevas at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple stand cancelled for the day:
- Kalyanotsavam
- Kumkumarchana
- Break Darshan
- Unjala Seva
- Vedasirvachanam
- Surya Narayana Swamy Temple: At the nearby sub-temple of Sri Surya Narayana Swamy, the deity will bless devotees on the Ashwa Vahanam between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
