Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making it easier to book Srivani Trust tickets. From January 9, devotees can book their tickets online for the first time. This is a trial run of the new system.
What is the Srivani Trust?
The Srivani Trust is a donation scheme. When devotees donate, they receive a receipt and a ticket that allows special darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. The donation supports TTD’s charity and religious activities.
What’s changing?
Until now, Srivani tickets were issued mainly through manual or offline methods. Starting Tuesday, January 9, 2024, TTD is testing an online current booking facility. This means you can book your ticket from home before traveling.
