🌅 Suprabhatam Seva

The Suprabhatam is the first and most sacred pre-dawn seva performed to wake up Lord Venkateswara from His celestial sleep. This divine ritual takes place at the Sayana Mandapam inside the sanctum sanctorum, accompanied by rhythmic Vedic hymns and the melodious songs of Tallapaka Annamacharya.

🌸 Thomala Seva

Thomala means “garland of flowers.” In this exquisite seva, Lord Venkateswara is adorned with various types of flowers by the Pradhana Archaka. The Lord is beautifully decorated with specially crafted floral garlands, each piece designed for specific areas to enhance the Divine beauty.

📿 Archana (Sahasranamarchana)

Archana involves the recitation of 1,008 glorious names of Lord Venkateswara. This powerful seva invokes divine blessings for the prosperity of humanity. A unique feature is that the Lord’s blessings are invoked in the names and gotras of participating devotees.

What Makes It Special

The divine blessings are personalized with the names and gotras of grihasta pilgrims (householders) who participate, making this a deeply personal spiritual experience.

🪔 Dolotsavam (Unjal Seva)

Dolotsavam, also known as Unjal Seva, features the Lord being gently swung on a beautifully decorated swing (unjal) amidst devotional songs and Vedic chants. This seva symbolizes the Lord’s playful nature and provides a soothing, joyful experience for devotees.

The Divine Swing

Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi are seated on an ornate swing. As the swing moves gently back and forth, devotees witness the Lord in a relaxed, joyful mood while priests chant mantras and sing Annamacharya kirtanas..

💑 Kalyanotsavam Seva

Kalyanotsavam is one of the most unique daily sevas where couples can witness and participate in the divine wedding ceremony of Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Padmavathi. This hour-long celestial marriage ritual is performed according to Vaikhanasa Agama Shastra.

The Divine Story

The marriage celebrates the union of Lord Srinivasa with Princess Padmavathi. According to legend, after Sage Bhrigu’s journey to determine who among the Trinity was worthy of worship, events led to Lord Venkateswara’s incarnation and His divine marriage to Padmavathi at Tirumala.

🌙 Ekanta Seva

Ekanta Seva is the final and most intimate ritual of the day, performed when the Lord is put to rest for the night. “Ekanta” means “solitude” or “privacy,” as this seva marks the end of the Lord’s daily activities. This seva is generally not open to the public as it’s part of the Lord’s private time.

The Night Ritual

During this sacred time, the Lord is prepared for rest. Special prayers are offered, and the sanctum is cleaned and prepared for the next day. The Lord is adorned with night garments and ornaments suitable for rest, symbolizing the divine taking human form and experiencing rest like us.

🎊 Arjitha Brahmotsavam

This daily ritual celebrates the grandeur of the Lord with elaborate decorations and processions. The seva features Sri Malayappa Swami (the processional deity) along with His consorts seated on three magnificent vahanas (vehicles) – Garuda Vahanam, Hanumantha Vahanam, and Sesha Vahanam.

The Procession

First, reverence is paid to Sri Malayappa Swami seated majestically on Garuda Vahanam (the divine eagle), followed by worship at Hanumantha Vahanam and Peddasesha Vahanam (the cosmic serpent). Each vahana represents different aspects of divine protection and power.

Special Privilege

Upon completion of this seva, ticket holders are granted darshan of the main deity Moolavar, making it a complete spiritual experience combining both processional worship and sanctum darshan.

🪔 Sahasra Deepalankara Seva

Sahasra Deepalankara means decorating the Lord with a thousand wick lamps. This spectacular evening seva features Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi adorned with 1,000 lit lamps. The Lord is gently rocked in an unjal (swing) amidst Vedic chanting and Annamayya songs.

Unique Highlight

This is the only daily seva performed outside the temple, at the Unjal Mandapam located at the southeastern corner of Srivari Temple. The sight of the Lord surrounded by a thousand lamps creates an unforgettable divine atmosphere.
